Denim Coffee is proud to announce our latest Artist Collab Series coffee, BEARBEANS by Nate Bear (aka BEARBRAINS). This offering will be limited to 100 total 12oz bags of our Ethiopia, a light/medium roast and a coffee carefully selected by Nate for this drop.

I was never much of a coffee guy, I was somehow a natural morning person that cold just pop out of bed and get going. That was until we had our first kid. After a few nearly sleepless weekday night I found I needed a little extra boost to get me going and into office for me design job on time.
Luckily for me I got addicted in Brooklyn where it's not too hard to discover coffee is actually allowed to taste good. Amazing actually. 10 years into my love affair the sweet sweet bean nectar I've grown into a bit of a coffee snob with a fancy grinder and espresso machine at home. Not just any bean will do.
That's why I'm excited to partner with Denim Coffee for this artist series edition. Not only did Tony give me free reign to go crazy with the bag design. We also picked out a special roast just for this limited drop. To go with the Saturday morning breakfast cereal theme we went with a medium roast with hints of fruitiness without sacrificing that rich coffee flavor.
For the design of the bag i brought to bear all of my packaging design background to create the first bag in the series with spot foil incorporated into the art. The illustrations on the front and back allude to Noodle Bears accidental discover of the Bear Beans while exploring the caves of Jelly Mountain. These little guys might not power Noodle's moon rocket by themselves, but they give give a major turbo boost to his Moon Jelly fuel.

After decades of creating in various media from comics to toy art, Nate found a new outlet in the NFT art world in early 2021. Inspired to explore the digital canvas fully, Nate began focus more squarely on building the world around his signature Noodle Bear character through unique creations.
